Melissa Cropper President of the Ohio Federation of Teachers joined the America’s Work Force Union Podcast and discussed results of the Nov. 8 General Election. She provided her thoughts on a number of races including the State Board of Education, the Ohio Supreme Court, statewide offices and federal races for the Senate and House of Representatives.  

Cropper gave her thoughts on three OFT State Board of Education endorsed candidates who won -- Teresa Fedor in District 2, Katie Hofmann in District 4, and Tom Jackson in District 10. She also discussed the impact of successful school levies in Cincinnati, New Lebanon and Arlington.     

She also lamented the results of Ohio’s U.S. Senate race, as Republican J.D. Vance defeated OFT endorsed Rep. Tim Ryan (D-Youngstown).
