The Alliance for American Manufacturing (AAM) President Scott Paul joined the America’s Work Force Union Podcast and promoted the Made in America Holiday Gift Guide, which features gift ideas from all 50 states, Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico, including many union-made products.

For the past nine years, AAM has compiled the gift guide of American-made products for most needs, Paul explained. He said the gift guide has grown exponentialy, and sellers featured in the guide show a noticeable increase in sales. He talked about the importance of buying American, union-made products whenever possible.

Paul then touched on a World Trade Organization ruling that found former President Trump violated global trade rules in 2018 when he invoked national security concerns to justify his tariffs on steel and aluminum products. President Biden has condemned and appealed the decision. Paul said he does not expect much more to happen on the matter.
