Survey & Ballot Systems (SBS) Account Manager John Westerhaus joined the America’s Work Force Union Podcast and discussed how the company’s digital voting technology can be used as an organizing tool by union leadership.

Founded in 1990, SBS helps member-based organizations conduct elections and surveys in a fair, transparent and efficient manner.

Westerhaus explained how SBS technology is used by companies and organizations – by boards of directors and unions alike – to run trustworthy elections. He added that unions could use the technology to not only conduct elections, but as a tool to survey their members prior to making potentially controversial decisions.

Westerhaus also talked about the LinkedUnion app and how it can be a powerful tool for member communication, organizing, political action, dues payments and more.
