June is World Infertility Awareness Month, and in honor of that, Isha Vij, Vice President of Employer Growth at Maven Clinic, joined the America’s Work Force Union Podcast and discussed how the organization is helping union members address fertility issues.
Maven Clinic is the world’s largest virtual clinic for women and families. The organization provides care in fertility, family building, maternity, parenting, pediatrics and menopause. It works with over 2,000 employers to help manage the care for more than 17 million lives worldwide.
As part of World Infertility Awareness Month, Vij talked about the ways Maven helps union members navigate through their family-building journey. She discussed how her experience in motherhood gave her the knowledge to help address many of the concerns about starting a family. Not only does Maven help manage care for women, but Vij explained how the organization can provide care management for the whole family, including men. She talked about the Maven platform, and how it can be utilized by union members and identified some of the available resources.
Finally, Vij discussed the evolution of fertility care and some of the gaps that exist. She spoke about the different ways Maven is filling these voids and guiding union members through their fertility care journey. Vij said that Maven’s goal is to ensure union members are able to get help when they need it.
