Richard “Dude” Rothwell, Training Coordinator for the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers Local 6 Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee, joined the AWF podcast and the importance of being loyal to your union.
The Local 6 JATC trains Insulators who work in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Maine, along with parts of Vermont and Connecticut.
Rothwell, a third-generation Insulator, discussed his journey to head the Local’s JATC and the importance of being loyal to a person’s union.
He also spoke about the reasons to vote for union-friendly candidates and pro-labor policies.
