He talked about the CINBCTC’s efforts to recruit students in high schools and trade schools into registered apprenticeship programs. He also explained the [Indiana Careers in Construction Association (ICCA)](https://www.builttosucceed.org/), which promotes educational and career opportunities in the construction industry throughout the state.   Hooker then talked about the challenges of organizing in Indiana, a So-Called “Right to Work” state and how apprenticeship standards in the Inflation Reduction Act will affect the building trades.
