Ann Byars, Program Manager of Youth Education and Civics for the American Legion, joined the America’s Work Force Union Podcast and discussed the proper etiquette, display and treatment of the U.S. flag, as part of AWF’s celebration of Flag Day.
Byars detailed the rules regarding displaying the flag at half-mast, how to properly illuminate the flag at night and proper ways of destroying a flag once its condition is no longer presentable.
