Jim Walker of the United Steelworkers joined us on America’s Work Force Union Podcast to talk about its leadership scholarship program.
Walker discussed that the course curriculum provides in-depth education regarding leading a local union. He continued that it consists of 51 weeks of service for the local union and the community through charity. One week out the year is reserved for attending a leadership class.
Separately, Walker mentioned that Cleveland Cliffs has been seeking healthcare improvements through recent actions that may grow its workforce.
