United Steelworkers (USW) International President Tom Conway joined the America’s Work Force Union Podcast and discussed the health of the steel industry.
He said that despite high inflation and supply chain issues, the demand for steel will remain strong thanks to the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and major companies reinvesting in themselves.
Conway also talked about particularly gas prices and price gouging, along with the recent successful vote by players in the United States Football League to organize and join the USW.
