He encouraged donors to research unfamiliar charities and reassured listeners that donating via the American Legion and its partner organizations is a safe way to support veterans.
Finally, Stoffer discussed a showcase of inspirational veteran stories and community events, specifically the journey of Nick Palmisciano from Army officer to successful entrepreneur. Palmischano’s story, featured in the December issue of American Legion Magazine, highlights the potential of veterans when they bet on themselves and invest in their communities. Additionally, Stoffer previewed the annual Army-Navy Game, highlighting its role in fostering camaraderie among veterans and American Legion members nationwide. Through watch parties and support for military academy graduates, the Legion utilizes these traditions to champion unity, service and ongoing support for those who serve.
